FlightStory X Ebury
Steven Bartlett launches a publishing venture in partnership with Ebury. The new joint venture, FlightStory Books, is a collaboration between Ebury and Steven Bartlett’s FlightStory, and will continue his strategic ventures into books and publishing, following the success of his own two books and the popular ‘WHSmith Steven Bartlett Recommends’ partnership which saw 150,000+ books sold across a variety of authors during the partnership (excluding his own titles).
The venture will launch with the memoir of high-performance endurance athlete and a recent hit DOAC podcast guest Russ Cook, known as Hardest Geezer, who will tell the story of becoming the first person to run the length of Africa. Cook’s ultra-marathon covered 10,000 miles (the equivalent of 386 marathons) and raised over £1 million for charity. ‘Hardest Geezer: Becoming the First Person to Run the Entire Length of Africa’ will be released on 24th October 2024.
This will be followed by the first book from Codie Sanchez, founder and CEO of Contrarian Thinking, a financial advice enterprise, who has an audience of 7 million subscribers. Codie’s The Diary Of A CEO appearance has amassed nearly 5M views and her book ‘Main Street Millionaire: How to Make Extraordinary Wealth Buying Ordinary Businesses’ will be published on 5th December 2024.
Other talent joining Flight Books include Dr. Tara Swart, an MD, neuroscientist, author of The Source and The Diary Of A CEO’s best performing guest of all time, attracting 13M+ views for the episode. She is joined by Kristen Holmes, Global Head of Human Performance and Principal Scientist at WHOOP, and pioneer in the field of human performance.
FlightStory Books has also acquired the next two books from relationships expert, TV presenter and author Paul C. Brunson, with the first, Keep Love, set to publish February 2025. Best known as a relationships expert on popular programmes Married At First Sight UK and Celebs Go Dating, Paul has appeared on The Diary Of A CEO twice, attracting over 3.5M views across both episodes.
